YOUNG CANADIANS IN A WIRED WORLD
In 2005,
ERIN Research conducted the Young Canadians in a Wired World survey (YCWW) for the Media Awareness
Network (MNet). YCWW is the most comprehensive and wide-ranging survey of Internet use among young
people in Canada. Building on the 2001 baseline and extending the sophistication of the analysis,
the study by ERIN looks at online behaviours, attitudes, and opinions of more than 5,200 children
and youth from Grades 4 to 11, in both official languages. These latest findings outline current
trends and provide recommendations with respect to Internet usage by Canadian youth, MNet, 2005.

SOCIAL
AND CULTURAL IMPACT OF CANADIAN DOCUMENTARIES
The NFB and
its partners commissioned ERIN Research to establish the first-ever framework for measuring social
and cultural impact of Canadian documentaries. As a basis for developing this innovative measurement
strategy, ERIN Research produced case studies of seven outstanding made-in-Canada documentaries and
reviewed the literature to produce a multi-pronged approach for measuring social impact of
documentaries. The report was produced in both official languages and presented at Hot Docs, Toronto 2005.
It included an annotated bibliography of seminal resources, 2005. More
